CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to Lions Kaiden Ginther and Erik Meier, who clawed their way to a first-round victory at the state tennis tournament in Pueblo! Unfortunately, they lost their 2nd round match in a tough 3 setter. Way to represent!!

ACADEMICS:
Attention Seniors! Colorado colleges and universities are waiving their application fees if you apply on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. There are specific instructions for each school and those are posted in the Post Grad Google Classroom as well as outside the cafeteria and Post Grad Office.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Good luck to our Lions Boys Soccer teams this week as they compete in their last two league games! Varsity takes on Standley Lake tonight at 5:00 at the NAAC Stadium, and JV plays at Standley Lake tomorrow night at 4:00. This Thursday, we need to pack the LPS Stadium to support our SENIORS during Senior Night!! The JV game starts at 4:15, and then Senior introductions will follow, leading up to Varsity’s 6:00 kick-off. Finish strong this week, Lions!

There will be a preseason informational meeting for anyone interested in Boys Basketball this winter. The meeting will be this Wednesday (Oct. 20) at 3:45 pm in the Forum. All interested players and managers should plan on attending.

The Littleton Wrestling team has started their preseason practices on weekdays from 4-6 pm in the wrestling room. There will be a preseason information meeting for parents and interested athletes on Thursday, October 21st, in the Forum at 6 pm. Come meet the coaching staff and learn more about the team and the upcoming season.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Hey Lions! Did you ever want to learn Mandarin, Russian, Korean, German or another foreign language? Do you need help studying French or Spanish? Come to the first meeting of the World Languages Club after school today! We will meet every Monday at 3:45 in the library.

The Colorado Bandmasters 5A Metro Regional Marching Band competition is here at Littleton High School today, October 18th. Any cars parked in the West Parking lot after school today will need to be moved either to the East Athletic Lot or off campus as we will need ALL of our parking spaces for both spectators and equipment vehicles. Thanks so much for your support of the "Pride of Littleton" High School Marching Band program.

Key Club will meet in room 2620 at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday this week to make Halloween decorations!

FCCLA/Culinary Club will be meeting on Thursday, October 21st at 7:30 am. Come make oreo truffles with us. If you signed up for ingredients, please bring those to romm 1972 ASAP.

Anyone interested in participating in unified bowling or basketball! Come to an informational meeting Tuesday, October 26 at 3:45 in room 1740. See Mrs. Encinias or Mrs. Stukey if you can't make it.

FBLA is having a meeting Thursday morning at 7:50 am in room 1975. This is the last meeting before the membership forms and fees are due on October 29th, so come and find out what FBLA can do for you and get all your questions answered.

STUDENT BULLETIN:
Leo club is working with Field elementary school to collect bags of candy for their trunk or treat. Please help by bringing an unopened bag of candy to the box near the attendance office. We need as much as possible by the 20th of october!

Lions Follies tryouts begin on October 20th through the 21st. This is LHS's talent show. Come show off for your peers, your teachers and your loved ones. Please sign up on the junior Student Council bulletin board. It's located in the Language Arts hallway. If you cannot find it, please see Mrs. Zerr in the counseling office or Mr. Wentz in the math department. Lion's Follies performance will be in the theatre on November 5th. Tickets will go on sale the week before.
