CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to our speech and debate team, who competed on November 20th at the virtual Raptor Rumble. Taking home top honors were Elan Sturtz - 8th place in Lincoln Douglas debate, Zach Long and Anna Staiert - 3rd place in Public Forum debate, Virginia Frau - 2nd place in Humor, Bella Houck - 2nd place in Drama, and Eliana Joy Volin with her 2nd consecutive 1st place win in Poetry. Excellent work, y'all.

ACADEMICS:
Reminder to Seniors: You need to request transcripts BOTH on Naviance as well as IN PERSON by filling out a paper Transcript Request Form. There is a $5 transcript fee per school, payable by cash or check. Ms. Inbody, our Registrar, needs to see the whites of your eyes when you turn in the paper form and transcript fee.

To all 10th, 11th and 12th graders:
This is a reminder that registration for Concurrent Enrollment classes at ACC for Spring 2022 runs through the month of November. Please make an appointment with your counselor to begin this process. Any further questions, please see Mr. Puchino, or your counselor.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Basketball season is here, and we need you to come out and support your varsity girls team! Tonight the Lions take on the Westminster Wolves here at LHS at 6:00, and you won't want to miss it. Be there to witness the beginning of the Mission!

Got Speed. Can you Jump? Looking to improve your foot speed and athleticism?  Plan on attending the Track & Field Pre-Season Meeting tomorrow, Nov 30th at 3:35 pm in the Health Room! Track On!

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Unified Partners Our first practice is today, Nov 29th. See you in the north gym at 3:30-4:15 pm. Bring your forms if you haven't turned them in yet.

There will be a Model UN Club meeting and informational meeting for the Vancouver, BC Model United Nations Conference Trip March 31st-April 3rd this Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, at 9 am in Room 2609 in the Social Studies Hall. Parents and students are welcome to attend. This conference would be a great opportunity to gain experience in international diplomacy, acquire IB CAS hours in an international setting, as well as add to students college applications. No prior Model United Nations experience is necessary. Please contact Mr. Gordon (jgordon@lps.k12.co.us) if you are unable to attend or have additional questions.
