The Post Grad Center's Google Classroom has added bunches of new information and resources for Juniors and Seniors...and their parents. Topics include: "I've Been Accepted. Now What?", "Decoding Financial Aid Award Letters", "SAT/ACT May Be Optional, But Some Schools Still Rely on Them", "How to Handle Being Waitlisted"...and much more. Students and parents will want to "join" the Classroom. Classroom code = lnu5atu (all lower case).

Hey Seniors! Student Council invites you to submit a 2-3 minute audition video to speak/perform at Graduation. Submit via email to Mr. Prince or Mrs. Watkins by April 16th. jsprince@lps.k12.co.us or dwatkins@lps.k12.co.us
It can be a traditional speech, song, poem, or any other creative representation of your choice. It should be school appropriate. We look forward to hearing from you!

LHS will be offering the LPS Swim Waiver Test on Wednesday, April 14th, at 7:45 am. All 8-11th Grade Students are eligible to take the test during the spring semester. Please sign up using the following link before Wednesday, April 7th.

All girls interested in playing golf for the Littleton Lions this spring need to attend a brief informational meeting tomorrow, April 1st. The meeting will be immediately after school in room 2603 and should only take about 10 - 15 minutes.

National Honor Society, we will have our first in-person meeting tomorrow, April 1st, at 8:00 am in the forum.

CONGRATULATIONS:
The Optimist Club of Littleton held their annual essay contest. This year, they judged 43 essays from students across the Littleton area. Two of the top three essayists are LPS students: Catherine May (1st Place, Littleton High School) and Alice Macdonald (3rd Place, Franklin Elementary School.) Catherine’s essay has been forwarded to the Colorado-Wyoming District level to compete for a $2500 college scholarship. Both Catherine and Alice had inspiring essays and represented LPS in the most positive light. Congratulations!

Blizzards, pandemics, virtual tournaments? Nothing can stop us! Last Friday and Saturday, 12 members of our speech and debate team competed at the CHSAA state tournament, and they brought home some hardware to show for it.

Bella Houck placed 6th in Drama
KC Lynch and Grace Amine placed 9th in Duo
Congratulations to all, now onto national qualifiers!

The Model UN Club will meet tomorrow, March 31st at 9:00 am in the LHS front lobby for yearbook pictures and then will hold its meeting in Room 2609. Students planning to participate in the Erie High School Model UN Conference on April 10th should attend.

Key Club will meet in the forum tomorrow, March 31st at 3:30 pm. Sign up on the Key Club website to attend the meeting.

Key Club is collecting gently used children's and young adult books to donate to Urban Peak and the Denver Public Libraries bookmobile. If you have any books that you no longer need, please bring them to the LHS library and put them in the donation box. Thank you.

FCCLA/Culinary Club will be meeting this Thursday at 7:30 am. Please bring your lab ingredients today. Email Ms. Coberly if you are interested in joining this club.
