The Lions girls basketball team played an outstanding game last night against 4th ranked Green Mountain. We came up just short, losing 63-55 to one of last year's final four teams. Sophomore Daysha Sagrillo-Smiley shut down our conference's best player while adding 8 points. Sophomore Penny Urquhart added 19 points for the Lions. Next up, the Lions take on Wheat Ridge here at LHS on Monday night. Great job, Lions!
