SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Girls tennis lost a hard-fought match against Denver North. Lions had individual victories for #1 Singles player Luci Brendlinger and #3 Doubles team Rose Renner and Lauren Tesar. JV players Anna Jane Geddes and Megan Nguyen also put up a win! All athletes showed spirit and dedication for the first match of the year.
Girls tennis has a home match tonight against Columbine. Go Lions!

The LHS boys lacrosse team opened its season with two tough road games last week. Although they came up short, the Lions competed hard and got some great performances from Dane Price ( 7 goals) and Carter Wasson (32 saves in goal), and Kaiden Ginther, who played solid hard-hitting defense. The Lions have their home opener this Wednesday at 6 PM against Vail Mountain School in the stadium. Come out and cheer on the team!

Girls Volleyball is about to begin spring workouts after Spring Break! Join us Mondays and Wednesdays 4-6 pm starting March 28th. Summer workouts are also posted on the volleyball website, be sure to register now. See you in the gym!

If you would like to help make paper flowers to raise money to support humanitarian aid projects in the Ukraine, please come to the library from 3.30 to 4.30 after school today,(March 15th). All are welcome.

2021-2022 Student Planners are available for pickup either at the Bookkeeper's office or the Counseling office. They will be free and are available until they run out.

Hey, lions! Do you have new or gently used shoes lying around? Our early High School National Junior Honor Society chapter will be partnering with Soles 4 Souls to do a shoe drive. New or gently used shoes of all types and sizes are accepted and will help families in need all around the world!. We will have collection boxes in the front lobby and counseling offices until April 1st. Together we can make a difference one shoe at a time!
