ACADEMICS:
Do you still need a Chromebook? Please come to the library this week to check one out. Be sure to have your permission form completed in IC.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Lions golf team competed in their 3rd league tournament of the season yesterday. Senior Noah Abramson took 3rd place overall in the 54-player field, shooting a 76. Junior Jack Finch also placed high, finishing in 8th place with a 78. Great job guys!

The girl's Volleyball game against Smokey hill was a hard fight! Player of the game for Level 3: Macey King who showed great leadership in the level 3 team. She also had a 6-serve run in game 2 that kept the lions close within the match. For JV: Keagan Boyd had a great first showing as a freshman on the JV team. Excited to see her overall play improve throughout the season. For varsity, Libby Bubelias was solid all around in her offense and defense and kept a cool head throughout all 3 sets.

LHS Wrestling is starting their preseason workouts on Sept 1st. Workouts will be on Mon, Thurs, and Fri from 4:15pm-6:15pm in the wrestling room. No experience is needed and any student can attend.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Are you ready to launch? Come check out Technology Student Association, a club where we learn how to use technology to create robots, rockets, music, art, and so much more! Our first meeting of the year is this Friday, 8/26 at 7:45 am, in room 218, the tech lab. Come meet the officer team, eat some donuts, and get prepared for a new year!

Littleton Lions, want to make a positive difference at Littleton High School? Join us in Sources of Strength! Sources of Strength is a club that encourages students to use their strengths to pull them through difficult times, and when needed to reach out to a trusted adult. We have fun campaigns; a training that includes games and pizza; and our meetings always involve delicious snacks! We meet in room 1219 on Thursdays, alternating mornings and afternoons. You have heard about ultimate frisbee and this fall is your chance to check it out! Ultimate Frisbee Club starts practice on Monday and we would love to see you at 3:45 on the LHS grass field. Students of all genders are welcome to play.
