 ACADEMICS:
Do you still need a Chromebook? Please come to the library this week to check one out. Be sure to have your permission form completed in IC.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Our boys' golf team turned in a solid performance yesterday in the league tournament at Legacy Ridge. The team finished in 4th place and had some great individual performances. Senior Dane Price led the Lions by shooting a 76, junior Jack Finch added a 77, and senior Noah Abramson a 78. All three players finished in the top 12 of the 75-player field. Great job guys!

There will be a quick informational meeting for BOTH the Boys and Girls Swim/Dive Teams on Thursday, Sept. 1 in the pool. The meeting is at 3:45 pm and will be a great chance for you to meet the Head Coach and all your new teammates. Please attend if you are planning on swimming or diving this year.

LHS Wrestling is starting their preseason workouts on Sept 1st. Workouts will be on Mon, Thurs, and Fri from 4:15pm-6:15pm in the wrestling room. No experience is needed and any student can attend.

Lions, come support our LHS Mountain Bike Team this Wednesday! Parry's Pizza in Centennial will donate 20% of your bill to the team if you're there between 5:30 and 8:00 this Wednesday, August 31st. Be sure to tell them you're there to support the team!

Do you like chess or are you interested in learning how to play? Come join the Chess Club! Our first meeting is Thursday, September 1st in the library. We meet from 3:30 - 5:00 and snacks will be provided! See you there.

You have heard about ultimate frisbee and this fall is your chance to check it out! Ultimate Frisbee Club starts practice on Monday and we would love to see you at 3:45 on the LHS grass field. Students of all genders are welcome to play.

Littleton Lions, want to make a positive difference at Littleton High School? Join us in Sources of Strength! Sources of Strength is a club that encourages students to use their strengths to pull them through difficult times, and when needed to reach out to a trusted adult. We have fun campaigns; a training that includes games and pizza; and our meetings always involve delicious snacks! We meet in room 1219 on Thursdays, alternating mornings and afternoons.
