The PSAT test date is Wednesday, October 12th at 7:45 a.m. in the South Gym. Sign-ups will begin Monday, September 19th for Juniors, Monday, September 26th for Sophomores, and conclude Friday, October 7th. Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20 (non-refundable). Space is limited so don’t wait until the last minute!

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Soccer team with their 3-2 overtime win against Ponderosa. The Lions were led by goals by Marconi Porra Adilla, Devin Shepard, and Johan Zamora-Guzman, with assists from Devin Shepard, Luke Morris, and Alfredo Baltazar Perez. The Lions' next match is Tuesday the 20th at home vs. Green Mountain. Roll Lions!
Congratulations to our LHS football team who won 74-0 last Thursday against Alameda.
Congratulations to our Boys Varsity Cross Country team on their win at the Harrison Panther Invitational in Colorado Springs! Kaden Pullar led for the boys with a speedy PR of 17:30 on the fast course. Luke Suro, Cameron Graham, Rowan Ingraham, Hank Chojnacki (Ho-No-Ski), Reese Gosling, and Daniel Grady rounded out the varsity squad. Special shout out to Seniors Lars Romine and Lucas Sjoberg for their great runs in the Boys Open!
The Lady Lions had a fantastic showing at the Harrison Panther Invitational last week. The Girls Varsity, led by Sydney Sheldon, finished second overall in an intense battle with Lake County. Anika Bagal, Kenzie Pullar, Sam Denman, Sophia Sheldon, Tatum Pratt, and Rylee Berger contributed to the effort. In the Girls Open race, it was all Littleton as the first four runners across the finish line sported our purple and gold jerseys led by Holly Burns, who won the race for the second year in a row. Way to go!
The volleyball player of the game is Lauren Braun for level 3. She had great serves and played aggressively in the front row! Sunna O'Connor had a strong showing with great serves, numerous assists, and amazing defense. Great game all around for a captain of the JV team. Jade Tenario kept a cool head and steady focus with her 2 ace serves, 6 kills, 4 solo blocks, and 2 assist blocks for their 3-2 win over North. The next game is tomorrow night as we take in Thornton high school at home.
CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
All students interested in joining the LHS Speech and Debate team, we have a student and family informational meeting this Wednesday night, at 6:30 in the forum. All new and returning members should attend, as we will preview our season to come, as well as some pretty exciting changes to our team and season. See you there!
DECA is having its first session of the new school year on Wednesday, September 14 in the cafeteria at 6:00pm. Pizza will be served. We look forward to seeing you there.

Mock Trial is a fun and engaging club for people who are interested in law, acting, debate, or public speaking. Teams of 6-12 people play the roles of attorneys and witnesses and then argue a fictional case in front of a real Colorado judge.
