CONGRATULATIONS:
Huge Congratulations to your "Pride of Littleton" High School Marching Band! The Band competed at the elite level Legacy Marching Band Competition this past Saturday. The Band placed 5th Overall out of 21 of the top bands in the State. The band also achieved their highest competition score ever! Go Band!!
Saturday Soccer was exciting! Both JV and Varsity shot out Dakota Ridge. JV won 2-0 with goals by Emir Aravalo Solteo and Colby Hyde assists by Alden Ray and Liam Wolf. Sebastian Pulai kept a clean sheet. Varsity won 1-0 on the goal by Reilly Reddy assisted by Skye Fanch, and Hayden Habitz also earned the clean sheet in goal. Soccer is away in Evergreen today and home this Friday playing Standley Lake.

Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country team on an excellent week of racing! The boys varsity won the Lions XC Classic last Tuesday with outstanding runs by Kaden Pullar, Sawyer Gannon, and Luke Suro who continue to push themselves to get better and faster. The squad then turned around to place 4th at the highly competitive Dave Sanders Invitational on Friday and earned the distinction of being the top placing Jeffco team in that race. Well done, gents!
Cheers to our Girls Cross Country team for their runs at the Lions XC Classic and Dave Sanders Invitational last week. The varsity was 4th in the Lions XC Classic coming in behind Lakewood High School by just seven points and not only topping the remaining Jeffco schools running but also finishing 2nd among 4A teams. At Dave Sanders, the varsity was 10th and the girls open finished in 4th thanks to terrific runs by Sophia Sheldon, Catherine May, and Colletta Schiller.

Speech and debate team members - coaches are hosting event sessions this week. Please attend the info session for the event you want to compete in this year. Those sessions are: Informative and Oratory, meeting on Wednesday after school in room 2618, the Interp meeting is Wednesday after school in 1102, and all debate (PF and LD) are Thursday after school in 1102. And all team members, we have a team meeting this Friday after school in 1102. Please see Coaches Saliman, De La Torre, and Ockner if you have questions.

The PSAT test date is Wednesday, October 12th at 7:45 a.m. in the South Gym. Sign-ups will begin Monday, September 19th for Juniors, Monday, September 26th for Sophomores, and conclude Friday, October 7th. Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20 (non-refundable). Space is limited so don’t wait until the last minute!
Are you bringing a date from another school to the Homecoming dance? If so, you will need to pick up a Guest Form! Please stop by the Attendance Office next week to pick up a form. It must be completed prior to the dance.
All students, if you don't have your student ID yet, please go to the Library during your off period to get one printed. Attention all grades! Are you in the visual arts? Do you write short stories, poetry, or even song lyrics or music? Submit your works to Littleton’s Violet Art Magazine! The publication strives to put the spotlight on creative works produced by students. The October issue’s theme is “Haunted”, feel free to write or create your own interpretation of the theme word, or submit any completed prior works, and submit them through the magazine’s email, violetartmagazine@gmail.com! Details for submissions can be found on the Magazine’s website, which can be found on Littleton’s website under student publications.
