SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Volleyball player of the games: Lena Drakes made some really smart plays, great passes, and had an awesome kill to add to the first C-team win. For JV Vicky Whitney had 6 kills and 3 blocks. Excellent game for our 2nd match on the road. Varsity senior Taryn Fortna really stepped up her hitting with 6 kills and was an encouraging presence on the court! Way to get the W at GW. Come cheer on the Lions tonight for their game against Rangeview. The theme is neon! There is also free pizza at the concession stand while supplies last!
STUDENT BULLETIN:Parking Permits: Students - please make sure you have your LHS parking permit displayed in your vehicle. We will be monitoring the parking lot and this will make it easy for us to identify student vehicles in our lots. If you need one please visit bookkeeping!

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:
There will be a quick informational meeting for BOTH the Boys and Girls Swim/Dive Teams on Thursday, Sept. 1 in the pool. The meeting is at 3:45 pm and will be a great chance for you to meet the Head Coach and all your new teammates. Please attend if you are planning on swimming or diving this year.
LHS Wrestling is starting their preseason workouts on Sept 1st. Workouts will be on Mon, Thurs, and Fri from 4:15pm-6:15pm in the wrestling room. No experience needed and any student can attend.
Do you like chess or are you interested in learning how to play? Come join the Chess Club! Our first meeting is Thursday, September 1st in the library. We meet from 3:30 - 5:00 and snacks will be provided! See you there.
