CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Tennis Team, placing 2nd place at the 2-Day Mustang Invite Tournament at the Apex over the weekend!!
Tyler Griffin took 1st place in Singles #3 in a 2nd set tiebreaker.
Andrew Desjardins took 2nd place in Singles #2 in a third-set tiebreaker.
Enzo Balderrama and Pierce Battles in Doubles #1 took 2nd place.
Charlie Fleishman and Kaden McPherson in Doubles #4 took 2nd place.
Owen Wagner and Max Durica in Doubles #3 took 3rd place.
Gabe Montoya in Singles #1 took 3rd place.
Nikhil Bagal and Ryan Newton in Doubles #2 took 4th place.

ACADEMICS:
Attention, Sophomores, and Juniors! The PSAT and NMSTQ tests are right around the corner. The test costs $20 and will be held on October 29th. Please bring the $20 fee to Ms. Schwabauer in the counseling office to sign up.

SPORTS :
Attention Lions, let's pack the stands for volleyball, soccer, and flag football games this week! Students cheer on your lions for FREE at the Girls' Volleyball varsity game on Thursday (9/19) at 6:30 pm; Boys' Soccer varsity game on Friday (9/20) at 4:15 pm; and Girl's Flag Football varsity game on Saturday (9/21) at 9:30 and 11 am. Students MUST present their LHS school ID to get in for free.

For our HOCO Football game against Eagle Valley on Friday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m., students will need to show their ID with the 24-25 Athletic pass or pay for a ticket to attend the game. Please note: No outside food/drink, backpacks, re-entry, or entry after half-time will be enforced for this game.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Join in on the Homecoming activities this week and sign up for dodgeball this Tuesday! Each team is ten people, so either put down your name and join classmates or create a group of 10 beforehand and sign up together. Teams are divided by grade, so one freshman team, one sophomore team, one junior team, and one senior team. The signup sheets are posted around the school! Please remember to be in the north gym at 3:40 with your team, and if you're not interested in playing, go to the west side of the gym to support your fellow lions!

Mysterious Model UN club is holding its next meeting tomorrow, September 17th, and will hold a meeting every Tuesday after that! Come find out what the flagpole model UN actually is. Talkers and Kahoot lovers, model UN is for you! Come by on Tuesday to check it out.

Hey, y’all, Friday may feel 65 million years away, but guess what isn’t? Dinosaurs! Film club welcomes you to come watch Jurassic Park in Room 2610 this afternoon.

Tomorrow's Spirit Day is Jersey Day! We can't wait to see you represent your favorite teams! After school tomorrow, we will have our class competition dodgeball game. If you haven't already, sign up to play on the student council bulletin board.

Are you planning to take a guest from another school to Homecoming? If so, you must pick up a guest form from the attendance office in the main lobby and get it filled out. All guest forms are due by Wednesday, September 18th.
