CONGRATULATIONS:
Lions, We did it!
Congratulations and thank you to everyone who signed up and participated in this weekend's LPS Stride! Thanks to your combined efforts, we won two first place prizes, earning us $4,000 in grants from the LPS Foundation for our PE programs. You are amazing!

Speech and debate started the season off strong! This Saturday we competed at the Great Pumpkin Novice tournament at Castle View high school.
Receiving Excellence Awards: Abby Long in dramatic interpretation, Laurel Moxon in Humorous Interpretation, and Journey Rivera and Georgia Moore in Public Forum debate
Receiving Superior Awards - Abby Heider in original oratory and Enzo Balderrama in Lincoln Douglas debate.

Pumpkin carving is today right after school in the Cafeteria! Come by to make a pumpkin and have a chance of winning the competition! Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided, just come solo or with a group and a great idea!

Latinos in Action and ActiVida Community Leadership Club are partnering on an LHS offering for the celebrations of the Day of the Dead Expo at East Community Center on Friday (November 1st) 5-8 pm. If you are interested in volunteering to help represent LHS at this community event, please plan to attend the volunteer interest meeting in room 1102 next Wednesday (October 30th) 3:45-4:15 pm. Come celebrate spooky season at the 4th annual LHS Spooktacular this Wednesday, October 30th at 6:30PM! The Spooktacular is a short horror film competition that includes live entertainment as well as a costume contest for the audience! Come see student horror films and dress up for the opportunity to win fabulous prizes. Tickets are $5 at the door. We hope to see you there!

Jewish Student Association is meeting this Thursday at 7:45 in room 1314. Swing by, say, hi, and grab a morning snack. All are welcome.

STUDENT BULLETIN:
PTO will be hosting a restaurant fundraising night at The Cherry Cricket in Littleton all day on Tuesday, November 12! 10% of the proceeds for the day will come back to LHS PTO to support After Prom 2025. Orders can be dine-in or take-out.

We will not have read announcements tomorrow 10/29 due to accuplacer testing.
