CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to senior, August Baker, who was selected for the Colorado High School Coaches Association All-State Dance Team. She will be representing the LHS Poms this summer at the CHSCA All-State Games!
Congratulations to both the girl's and boys' wrestling teams! The girls' team had an outstanding performance with four tournament champions at the 2024 Raven Rumble: Mimi Boone, Kooper Griggs, Abby Roache, and Riley Meissner. Wren Freeman and Isaac Johnson also had strong showings, each placing 2nd. The boy's team also did well at the 2024 War Horse Invitational, with David Cruz and Christian May each securing 2nd place and James Horton finishing in 4th. Both teams will head to Jefferson High School tomorrow evening for their next competition. Keep up the great work!
Welcome back Speech and Debaters! We had a great first tournament after break, taking home some awards. Kaylie Droy took 9th place in Dramatic interpretation, Gavin Reidy took 5th in Humorous interpretation, Caroline May took 2nd in Program Oral interpretation, Kernan Luther took 11th place in U.S Extemporaneous speaking. In poetry we had two finalists with Caroline May taking 2nd place and Julia McGarrity taking 4th.
Emment Moxon was also recognized for being a Semifinalist in Humorous interpretation. Way to go team. Root for us for our next tournament this Saturday at Denver South High School.
ACADEMICS:
We will be hosting a few military visits in the cafeteria this week during both lunches. Recruiters from the Navy will be here on Tuesday, and the Army will be here on Thursday.
SPORTS:
Come one, come all... The track and Field Team is holding their first Winter Track Camp from tomorrow, January 14 through Thursday, January 16th. We'll meet at the weight room @ 3:45... Dress Warm and Bring a Water Bottle! See Coach Koepke with any questions!

Are you interested in participating in Baseball, Girls Golf, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Soccer, Boys Swim & Dive, Girls Tennis and/or Track & Field? Spring sport registration is now open on the Athletics website.
Pre-season workouts for spring sports are already happening so reach out to your sport’s head coach if you need more info. Spring sport season practices officially start February 17 (Boys Swim & Dive) and February 24 (all other spring sports).
