Sources of Strength
Want to make a positive difference at LHS? Please join Sources of Strength! We are a suicide prevention group that focuses on hope, help, and strength.
Sources of Strength peer leaders get together, eat treats, and plan campaigns to spread awareness of healthy mental health strategies to use when you're feeling down. SOS also wants students to reach out to trusted adults when they need help. Everyone is welcome to join! Our first meeting will be with Mrs. Kubala (formerly Rapp) in room 1219, after school, on Tuesday, August 26th. Reach out to Mrs. Kubala with any questions or to give a treat request at mrapp@lps.k12.co.us.
Attention all freshmen! Want to make a difference at LHS? Now's your chance! Join student council and run for freshman class president, vice president, or public relations officer. See Ms. Schwabauer in the counseling office to learn more.
RPG - - - D and D club will begin meeting next week on Thursday, August 21st after school until 5 pm in room 1606. We will officially determine the regular meeting day and generate ideas for this year's campaigns.

Sources of Strength
¿Quieres marcar una diferencia positiva en LHS? ¡Únete a Sources of Strength! Somos un grupo de prevención del suicidio que se centra en la esperanza, la ayuda y la fortaleza.
Los líderes de Sources of Strength se reúnen, comen golosinas y planifican campañas para difundir estrategias de salud mental saludables que se pueden utilizar cuando uno se siente deprimido. SOS también quiere que los estudiantes acudan a adultos de confianza cuando necesiten ayuda. ¡Todo el mundo es bienvenido! Nuestra primera reunión será con la Sra. Kubala (antes Rapp) en la clase 1219, después de clase, el martes 26 de agosto. Si tienes alguna pregunta o quieres solicitar algo para comer, ponte en contacto con la Sra. Kubala en mrapp@lps.k12.co.us.

Únete al consejo estudiantil y preséntate como candidato a presidente, vicepresidente o responsable de relaciones públicas de la clase de primer año. Acude a la oficina de consejería y habla con la Srta. Schwabauer para obtener más información.
RPG - - - El club de D&D comenzará a reunirse la próxima semana, el jueves 21 de agosto, después de clase hasta las 5 de la tarde en la clase 1606. Determinaremos oficialmente el día de reunión habitual y generaremos ideas para las campañas de este año.
