Today we remember Roberto Clemente, a Puerto Rican baseball legend and humanitarian. He used his platform to help others and broke barriers in Major League Baseball.

CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country team on their impressive win at the A-West Durden Invitational on Friday! The Lions topped several strong 5A schools and held off tough competition from Wyoming to take home the winner’s plaque. Scoring for the team were Tyler West, Hank Chojnacki, Axel Fontaine, Jonas Fontaine and Rowan Ingraham. Stand-out performances came from Micah Hosie, Grayson Manuel, Ben Ezell and Kaillan Amienyi, who all notched PRs in a busy week featuring two big races.

Let’s hear it for our Lions Girls Cross Country team! They continue to outperform expectations every week, even while missing some of our top runners. At the A-West Durden Invitational, senior Alex Herrera led the way with a new PR, followed by Lucia Bovo, Gillian Glover, Ainsley Baker, Sarah Nazarenus and Ella Chase, who also set a new PR. More PRs were earned by Emma Roskelley, Audrey Faiks and Maddy Nolting. Great job, Lions!

Congratulations to your "Pride of Littleton" Marching Band who had a good showing at their first competition of the season this past Saturday in Fort Collins. The Band placed 3rd in their Division. Go Band!

Congratulations to the Littleton Lions Mountain Bike Team! The team had an incredible race on Sunday in Eagle, taking second place in their division. A special shoutout goes to Esme Ahles, who powered her way to a first-place finish in the freshman girls race. Way to go, Lions—keep riding strong!
