Congrats to our girls basketball team for their big 56-26 win over TJ on Friday night. Emma Bird led the way offensively with 29 points and 15 rebounds, with Erica Levene carrying the load on defense all night. The team improved to 4-1 and takes on Kennedy tomorrow night. Great job, Lions!
The Girls Swim & Dive kept it rollin' with an enthusiastic meet against Ralston Valley. Standout performances by Bea Ingels, Audrey Faiks, and Phia Stricker set the tone, and it was a fast one! Our divers also had a great meet! Shout out to Cora Boyd, Captain Maddie Roth, Kalli Lucas, Claire Gibbons, and Julia Spielman. The Girls are gearing up for their mid-season meet at Cheyenne Mountain next weekend, where they look to establish themselves as a top team in the 4A classification. Amazing job, Girls! Keep up the incredible work!
This weekend, our Thespian Troupe attended the Colorado State Thespian Conference in downtown Denver, an event that brings together more than 5,000 theatre students from across the state to compete in a wide range of performance and technical categories. Kaylie Droy was selected to perform in the prestigious All-State opening number, while Reagan O’Connor served as a master of ceremonies in her role as a State Thespian Officer.
Our school’s one-act production, featuring students from the IB Theatre class, was honored as a Top Three finalist. Additionally, Levi Bechtold and Ronan Marvin were selected as mainstage finalists for their musical theatre duet. Thespian President Lauren O’Connor received the distinguished honor of being named the conference’s Most Outstanding Stage Manager at the Bellco Theatre, in front of the entire conference. Jolie Frost was also recognized for her exceptional work, earning the award for Best Director of a Short Film.
Amazing job, Thespians! The theatre department is so proud of your hard work!
Another good week for the wrestling team. The girls saw limited mat time in duals, but several earned their first wins on Saturday. Mimi Boone battled to a 2nd-place finish, and Wren Freeman took 1st place once again. The boys dropped a team dual at Ralston Valley but picked up a head-to-head win. Christian May fought hard for 1st place on Saturday. This week, the boys have a Tri @ Bear Creek. A few wrestlers will be in Greeley this weekend, and others will be at Bear Creek.

Felicitaciones a las Littleton Varsity Poms por haber quedado entre las 10 mejores en la Competencia Estatal de Pom 4A el sábado. ¡Gracias a todos los que vinieron a apoyarlas!
Felicidades a nuestro equipo femenino de baloncesto por su gran victoria por 56-26 sobre TJ el viernes por la noche. Emma Bird lideró el ataque con 29 puntos y 15 rebotes, mientras que Erica Levene se encargó de la defensa durante toda la noche. El equipo mejoró su marca a 4-1 y se enfrentará a Kennedy mañana por la noche. ¡Buen trabajo, Leones!
El equipo femenino de natación y saltos siguió con su racha con una entusiasta competición contra Ralston Valley. Las destacadas actuaciones de Bea Ingels, Audrey Faiks y Phia Stricker marcaron la tonalidad, ¡y fue una competición rápida! ¡Nuestras saltadoras también tuvieron una gran competición! Este fin de semana, nuestra compañía teatral asistió a la Conferencia Estatal de Teatro de Colorado en el centro de Denver, un evento que reúne a más de 5,000 estudiantes de teatro de todo el estado para competir en una amplia gama de categorías técnicas y de interpretación. Kaylie Droy fue seleccionada para actuar en el prestigioso número inaugural estatal, mientras que Reagan O'Connor ejerció de maestra de ceremonias en su papel de responsable estatal de teatro. La producción de un acto de nuestra escuela, en la que participaron estudiantes de la clase de Teatro del IB, fue galardonada como una de las tres finalistas. Además, Levi Bechtold y Ronan Marvin fueron seleccionados como finalistas del escenario principal por su dúo de teatro musical. La presidenta de teatro, Lauren O'Connor, recibió el distinguido honor de ser nombrada la mejor directora de escena de la conferencia en el Teatro Bellco, ante toda la conferencia. Jolie Frost también fue reconocida por su excepcional trabajo, ganando el premio a la mejor directora de cortometraje. ¡Excelente trabajo, miembros de la asociación teatral! ¡El departamento de teatro está muy orgulloso de su arduo trabajo!
Otra buena semana para el equipo de lucha libre. Las chicas tuvieron poco tiempo sobre el tapete en los combates por equipos, pero varias de ellas consiguieron sus primeras victorias el sábado. Mimi Boone luchó hasta conseguir el segundo lugar y Wren Freeman volvió a quedar en primer lugar. Los chicos perdieron un combate por equipos en Ralston Valley, pero consiguieron una victoria en el enfrentamiento directo. Christian May luchó duro por el primer puesto el sábado. Esta semana, los chicos tienen un tri en Bear Creek. Algunos luchadores estarán en Greeley este fin de semana y otros estarán en Bear Creek.
