Congrats to the girls' basketball team on their 49-32 win over Westminster on Friday night. The Lions were led by Lena Drakos with a career high of 20 points and Josie Wallrath with 10 points. Sophomore guard Olivia May also added an impressive 15 rebounds. The team has home games this week on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. We hope to see you there!
The Speech and Debate team crushed it this weekend at George Washington’s Patriot Games! Maryn Holladay and Ava Graham got 6th place in Duo Interpretation, Gavin Reidy got 5th place in Humorous Interpretation, Emmett Moxon got 4th place in Impromptu speaking, and Maddux Holladay got 9th in Lincoln Douglas Debate. Go team!
The LHS chess tournament results from Saturday are in, and LHS dominated! Jordan Johnson placed third after a tie breaking match with Broderick Evilsizer, who secured second place, and the overall winner was clenched by Grayson Manuel, who took first place! Thank you all who turned on Saturday and made it home in time to cheer on the Broncos, Go Lions!
