The Speech and Debate Team had a great weekend at our State tournament in Pueblo! In International Extemporaneous Speaking, Corrin Haggerty got 11th place, Baani Sandhu got 9th place, and Ava Graham got 4th place. Gavin Reidy got 6th place in Humorous Interpretation, Abby Long and Laurel Moxon got 11th place in Duo Interpretation, Enzo Balderrama was an Octo-Finalist in Lincoln-Douglas debate, and Abby Heider got 10th place in Informative Speaking. The team placed 5th for Speech events, and 10th overall in the state of Colorado!! Great job, Speech and Debaters!

FELICITACIONES:
¡El equipo de discurso y debate tuvo un gran fin de semana en nuestro torneo estatal en Pueblo! En la categoría de discurso improvisado internacional, Corrin Haggerty obtuvo el lugar 11, Baani Sandhu el lugar 9 y Ava Graham el lugar 4. Gavin Reidy quedó en sexto lugar en Interpretación Humorística, Abby Long y Laurel Moxon quedaron en undécimo lugar en Interpretación en Dúo, Enzo Balderrama fue octavofinalista en el debate Lincoln-Douglas y Abby Heider quedó en décimo lugar en Oratoria Informativa. ¡El equipo quedó en quinto lugar en las pruebas de oratoria y en décimo lugar en la clasificación general del estado de Colorado! ¡Buen trabajo, oradores y debatientes!

Esta semana es la Semana de Difundir el Mensaje. ¡No olvides mostrar tu orgullo por la escuela mañana vistiendo tu ropa de Unificado o de color morado y dorado! Pasa por la mesa del Club Unificado durante el almuerzo para firmar el compromiso de ayudar a mantener la inclusión en LHS y llévate algunos obsequios divertidos. Sigamos difundiendo la inclusión y hagamos de nuestra escuela un lugar donde todos se sientan parte de ella.
