Friday: Wear your class shirt and attend the assembly!
Saturday: Prom at Chatfield Botanic Gardens from 8-11pm and after prom here at the high school from 11:30 - 2:30 am.
Sources of Strength:
The Sources of Strength Community Pantry is happy to help if your family needs some food at home. The pantry currently has Chef Boyardee, pasta, pasta sauce, grape jelly, macaroni and cheese, a variety of soups, refried beans, baking mixes, gluten-free baking mixes, and much more. Please visit room 1219 between 8 and 8:15 any morning or during 5th period. You can also email mkubala@lps.k12.co.us if you would like a bag prepared for pickup after school to be scheduled.
Create For Kids club meeting this Thursday at 7:30 in room 1744. This is the end of our spring gift basket drive, so bring in any toy donations! Donuts or bagels provided.
FCCLA/Culinary Club will be having their annual Salsa Wars competition this Thursday at 3:36 pm. If you signed up to compete, please bring all your ingredients this week.
STUDENT BULLETIN:
A local Girl Scout Troop is having a donation drive for a blessing box that is going to be put in the school! The box will be an installation in the library where students can get what they need. Please consider donating things like oral care products, hair care, lotion, chapstick, wet wipes, deodorant, feminine products, hair brushes and combs, hair ties, school supplies, non-perishable foods and snacks like granola bars or fruit leather, socks, laundry supplies, bar soap and similar items. The drive will be to help stock the box for the first time, and you can leave donations in the designated box located in the counseling office for the next week. Thank you for your support!
BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Prom has officially been announced! It will take place on April 25th at Chatfield Botanic Garden from 8-11pm. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door.
After Prom will take place here at LHS from 11:30-2:30 am. $20 per person.

Sábado: Baile de graduación en el Jardín Botánico Chatfield de 8 a 11 p. m. y fiesta posterior al baile aquí en la escuela preparatoria de 11:30 p. m. a 3 a. m.
Sources of Strength:
La despensa comunitaria Sources of Strength estará encantada de ayudar si su familia necesita algo de comida para llevar a casa. Actualmente, la despensa cuenta con productos de Chef Boyardee, pasta, salsas para pasta, mermelada de uva, macarrones con queso, una variedad de sopas, frijoles refritos, mezclas para hornear, mezclas para hornear sin gluten y mucho más. BOLETÍN ESTUDIANTIL:
¡Una tropa local de Girl Scouts está organizando una colecta de donaciones para una caja de bendiciones que se colocará en la escuela! La caja se instalará en la biblioteca, donde los estudiantes podrán tomar lo que necesiten. Por favor, consideren donar artículos como productos de higiene bucal, productos para el cuidado del cabello, loción, protector labial, toallitas húmedas, desodorante, productos de higiene femenina, cepillos y peines, ligas para el cabello, útiles escolares, alimentos no perecederos y bocadillos como barras de granola o tiras de fruta, calcetines, productos de lavandería, jabón en barra y artículos similares. La campaña tiene como objetivo ayudar a abastecer la caja por primera vez, y pueden dejar sus donaciones en la caja designada ubicada en la oficina de orientación durante la próxima semana. ¡Gracias por su apoyo!

¡Ya se ha anunciado oficialmente el baile de graduación! Se celebrará el 25 de abril en el Jardín Botánico Chatfield, de 8 a 11 de la noche. Las entradas cuestan $40 por adelantado y $50 en taquilla.
La fiesta después del baile tendrá lugar aquí, en LHS, de 11:30 a. m. a 2:30 a. m. $20 por persona.
