The band placed 3rd in their Division and 7th overall at the Douglas County Marching Invitational this past Saturday. The band also earned their highest score of the season. Go, Band!!"
ACADEMICS:
Did you know 65 college reps have visited LHS this year?!! Today's visits in the library include Colorado Mesa at 10, and Syracuse at 2 -- plus a recruiter from the Marines will be in the cafeteria during A & B lunches.
Next Monday night, LHS is hosting a College Info Night with financial aid and other help. Check out the posters around school and on the Post Grad website for more information. We look forward to seeing Junior and Senior families there. This is a great resource to keep you on track for the October 20-22 Colorado Free Application Days and other deadlines.

Roblox club is meeting tomorrow right after school in the counseling office. Come meet some new people! We are open to all levels of Roblox involvement.
Yoga Club meets THIS FRIDAY at 7:30 AM in the Wrestling Room! Join us for yoga and a chance to relax and start your morning off right. Mats are provided, just wear comfortable clothes and come ready to stretch. We hope to see you there!
Latinos in Action will be hosting a Jersey and Piñata Day on Friday! Wear a jersey from your favorite Latin American Team! Latinos in Action will also be making Piñatas and invite all students and Staff to swing at a Pinata during A and B lunch on Friday, October 9th!

LHS Students, if you were unable to have your photo taken in August for your 26-27 student ID badges, please do so during our photo retake session today, October 6th. Lifetouch will be in the Theater Lobby from 11:30 am - 2:00 pm to take pictures. Current student ID badges are required for LPS events as well as for some testing sessions.

LHS will be offering the PSAT/NMSQT on October 28 in the South Gym.
Exam time: 8:00 a.m.
Arrival time: 7:45 a.m. to allow time to get your device ready
Registration fee: $20
Registration deadline: October 14
To register, please visit the Counseling Office and see Mrs. Knoth or Mrs. Nordlander. You must pay the $20 registration fee to receive the registration link. Be sure to register by October 14!

LHS ofrecerá el examen PSAT/NMSQT el 28 de octubre en el gimnasio sur.
Hora del examen: 8:00 a. m.
Hora de llegada: 7:45 a. m., para que tengas tiempo de preparar tu dispositivo
Cuota de inscripción: $20
Fecha límite de inscripción: 14 de octubre
Para inscribirte, acércate a la Oficina de Consejería y habla con la Sra. Knoth o la Sra. Nordlander. Debes pagar la cuota de inscripción de 20 dólares para recibir el enlace de inscripción. ¡Asegúrate de inscribirte antes del 14 de octubre!
