Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students/senior citizens and available through the music department and at the door beginning at 6 pm.

Attention Sophomores: Parking passes will be available for 2nd semester starting next week. Please bring $25, current registration, insurance and your driver’s license to the bookkeeper office. If you have not received your license yet, you may purchase a parking permit once you are a licensed driver.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Littleton High School DECA program on their outstanding performance yesterday at the DECA District Competition. The district competition consisted of 11 Colorado schools and accounted for over 400 students. Littleton DECA took 26 students to this competition in an effort to qualify for the upcoming State Conference in February. The chapter qualified all 26 student competitors, accounting for 19 first and second place finishers.

WOW—LHS, you rock! We set a new record with our Giving Snowman this year! The Snowman was put up right before lunch on Tuesday and ALL 80 of the snowflakes were GONE by 2pm! Your giving spirit is amazing Littleton! If you did NOT get a snowflake yesterday, we are putting 40 more up today to cover the kids who go to Musana just during the day for school. They will be up 2nd period. Thanks so much everyone!

It’s time for the Student Council’s GIVING SNOWMAN project that benefits the Musana Orphanage in Uganda. The GIVING SNOWMAN will be up today in the hallway outside of the Math/Lang Arts offices. Each SNOWFLAKE on the SNOWMAN will have the name of an Orphan from Musana, their gender, age, hobbies and size. We are asking that you bring in clothes, toys, coloring books, puzzle books, stuffed animals, or anything else you think a child would love to have in Uganda!! Attach the snowflake to your present and bring it up to the Social Studies office and put it next to Ms Prestel’s desk. The GIVING SNOWMAN will run from today to Dec. 16th. LET’S HELP GIVE THESE CHILDREN A GREAT CHRISTMAS!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Speech and Debate team who placed 3rd overall - out of 21 schools - at the Chatfield Chill Tournament on Saturday. Additional congratulations go out to Emily Bowman, who placed 1st overall in Poetry, Tess Ortiz, who placed 2nd overall in Poetry, Rachael Riley, who placed 1st overall in Drama, Charlotte Grimm, who placed 4th overall in Drama, Tori Sisk, who placed 5th overall in Drama, Joyce Jowers, who placed 2nd overall in Original Oratory, Tres Pittman and Daniel Thomas, who placed 1st overall in CX Debate, Sara Leovic, who placed 3rd overall in Lincoln Douglas Debate, and Ben Fisk, who placed 4th overall in Humor.

The LHS Lady Lionfish finished 4th in both the varsity and JV divisions of the Arapahoe Relays held last Saturday at Arapahoe. Next up is a dual meet with Chaparral this Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in our pool. Anyone wishing to serve as a backup timer would be enthusiastically welcomed! See you there!
