Today is an ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to your own "Lion Pride" Marching Band and Colorguard.  The Band placed 3rd in their Division and 5th Overall at the Friendship Cup Marching Band Competition on Saturday. Everyone is invited to come and see all three LPS Marching Bands in performance tomorrow night at the stadium at the LPS District Marching Festival. Performances begin at 6:45pm and finish at 8pm. Admission is Free, so come and enjoy!

The competition was fierce, and the weather was hot, but your LHS cross country team was up to the challenge at Friday's Dave Sanders Invitational.  The boys team was 6th out of 25 schools, led by Colin Cannon in 11th-place, followed by Bruce Barnstable, and Tommy Kail.  The girls were 9th, with Addi Iken out front in 15th-place, helped by Magda van Leeuwen, Claudia Kramer, and Phoebe Foster.  Great job, Lions!

The Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated Golden 3 to 0 on Saturday. Hugo Ogilvie scored one goal and Hamadi Ali Abid scored 2 goals.
