Important Announcements:
Seminar Reminders -
We have Seminar this Wednesday and here are a few reminders. 9th & 10th graders - be sure to bring your registration cards and laptops to Seminar. 11th graders - you will have an important Junior Advisement presentation from Post Grad. Go to your Seminar rooms. 12th graders - you will make a choice. You can either go to your Seminar room for a presentation by your Seminar teacher about the steps you should be taking now for your college search, or if you have been accepted what steps you should be taking. OR you can go to the Forum for a presentation on alternatives to a four-year college. Representatives from several programs and institutions will be here including Emily Griffith, Build Colorado, Job Corps and others. Seniors, you must choose one - your Seminar room or the Forum. Attendance will be taken in both.
Academics:
Did you know that many businesses in Colorado who hire skilled tradespeople, like electricians, painters or stone masons simply CANNOT find enough people who are trained? Come to the Trade & Tech Fair in the front lobby during lunches, Wednesday, February 15th.
IB JUNIORS, you have a mandatory meeting Wednesday morning, February 15, at 8 am in the Forum.
Registration for the 2017-2018 school year will be in the Forum during A or B lunch:

Clubs and Activities:
There is a PEAS Club meeting today, Today February 14, in room 1324. We will be transplanting seedling so come see how the seeds are doing and bring your friends
FCCLA/Culinary Club will be having a Valentines "After Party" after school this Thursday in room 1972.
If you received a Val-O-Gram, you can pick up your candy after school in the front lobby, athletic entrance or cafeteria. Happy Valentine's Day from Student Council!!
Sports:
Boys Swim/Dive preseason practice starts on today, February 14 at 3:00 pm.
Come out and support our Lions girls basketball teams this Thursday night vs. Valor Christian here at LHS!
Attention all Freshmen! Come support our girls basketball team this Thursday, the 16th at 7:00 as they take on Valor.
Tomorrow, February 15, the Lions' Ultimate Team will be having a tye dying party in the big art room, 1218!
