CONGRATULATIONS:
Huge congratulations to the girls’ wrestling team on their impressive 3rd place finish at the JeffCo League Tournament last night at Columbine! A special shoutout to Mimi Boone, Kooper Griggs, and Wren Freeman for leading the way as league champions. Riley Meissner and Isaac Johnson also put on strong performances, earning 2nd place finishes. Next up is Regionals at Coronado High School next week! Let's go Lions!!

Feb Fest - the LHS Athletics event to raise money for all our LHS sports teams - is on Saturday, February 22nd from 1-5 pm at Pindustry and it's open to students again this year! Feb Fest is an afternoon of all the awesome Pindustry games - pinball, pool, arcade games and lots more! Plus, ice skating on the sky deck and great food! Tell your parents the link to buy tickets is in the Friday Flyer and on the LHS Athletics and Sports Booster Club websites - and to get tickets by Friday, January 31st for discounted early prices!
STUDENT BULLETIN:
Wish Week is NEXT Week! Join us for a week of events as we work to raise money for our Wish Kid, Ariel. He is a 5-year old boy with a genetic order and his wish is to see Spiderman at Universal Studios. Let's make his wish come true! Attend any of our restaurant nights, put money in donation jars and then join us Thursday after school for the Student vs. Staff Basketball game and Teacher halftime dance. Tickets are $5 and the game is in the North Gym. Friday we will have a Miracle Minute at the Pep Rally to raise our final funds. Start looking for your spare change now! Check out the posters around the school for more details!

On Monday, we have PJ day, so wear your comfy, cozy pajamas.
Tuesday is Disney vs. Superheroes, so represent your favorite characters.
Wednesday is hat day; wear a hat.
Thursday is sports & jersey day.
On Friday we will wear green and blue for our pep assembly. 8th, 9th, and 10th graders wear green, 11th and 12th graders wear blue. This will also be our wish week assembly, and blue and green are the favorite colors of our wish recipient. More information on wish week soon.

Attention Juniors and Sophomores:
Applications for Auto Tech, Cosmetology, Fire Science and Pro Start are now being accepted on the district CTE website. Please see your counselor if you are interested in requesting one of these programs. The application window closes March 7, 2025. Please do not wait as these classes are very popular.
Are you interested in participating in Baseball, Girls Golf, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Soccer, Boys Swim & Dive, Girls Tennis and/or Track & Field? Spring sport registration is now open on the Athletics website.
Pre-season workouts for spring sports are already happening so reach out to your sport’s head coach if you need more info. Spring sport season practices officially start February 17 (Boys Swim & Dive) and February 24 (all other spring sports).
