Congratulations to sophomore Grayson Manuel who was crowned the Colorado High School State chess champion over the weekend. Grayson will now move on and represent Colorado in the national championships this summer. Well done Grayson!
It's official! The Girls Swim & Dive Team captured the school's FIRST EVER LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP in Girls Swim & Dive! Congratulations to the entire team for an outstanding weekend and a convincing victory. Not only is this the first ever League Championship for the Girls Swim & Dive Team in school history, but they also captured the League title in the 200 Free Relay. Great job ladies and good luck this week at the State Meet!
Congratulations to the boys wrestling team on their impressive 3rd place finish at the JeffCo League Tournament on Friday! The team was led by 2-time league champs James Horton and David Cruz. Christian May claimed his first league title, and Kevin Guzman earned a 2nd place finish. Brothers Noah and Hunter Hansen both placed 3rd, while Daniel Tavares took 5th. The boys head to Canon City on Friday for Regionals. Let's keep the momentum going!

Feb Fest - the LHS Athletics event to raise money for all our LHS sports teams - is on Saturday, February 22nd from 1-5 pm at Pindustry and it's open to students again this year! Feb Fest is an afternoon of all the awesome Pindustry games - pinball, pool, arcade games and lots more! Plus, ice skating on the sky deck and great food! Tell your parents the link to buy tickets is in the Friday Flyer and on the LHS Athletics and Sports Booster Club websites - and to get tickets by Friday, January 31st for discounted early prices!

LHS PTO will be hosting a restaurant fundraising night at Big Daddy's Pizza in Littleton between 5 and 8 PM on Tuesday, February 11! This is definitely one of our most lucrative restaurant nights of the year and I want to get the word out early and often:). 30% of the proceeds for the event will come back to LHS PTO to support After Prom 2025. People do not have to mention LHS but it never hurts to let them know how much we care:). Orders can be dine-in or take-out (ordered on the Big Daddy's website or app). GrubHub/UberEats DoorDash not included.

Applications for Auto Tech, Cosmetology, Fire Science and Pro Start are now being accepted on the district CTE website. Please see your counselor if you are interested in requesting one of these programs. The application window closes March 7, 2025. Please do not wait as these classes are very popular.
Are you interested in participating in Baseball, Girls Golf, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Soccer, Boys Swim & Dive, Girls Tennis and/or Track & Field? Spring sport registration is now open on the Athletics website.
Pre-season workouts for spring sports are already happening so reach out to your sport’s head coach if you need more info. Spring sport season practices officially start February 17 (Boys Swim & Dive) and February 24 (all other spring sports).

¡Es oficial! ¡El equipo de natación y buceo de niñas capturó el PRIMER CAMPEONATO DE LIGA de la escuela en natación y buceo de niñas! Felicitaciones a todo el equipo por un fin de semana excepcional y una victoria convincente. No solo es el primer campeonato de la liga para el equipo femenino de natación y buceo en la historia de la escuela, sino que también capturaron el título de la liga en los 200 relevos libres. Buen trabajo señoritas y buena suerte esta semana en el encuentro estatal.
