Let’s give a huge shoutout to our Boys Cross Country team for an outstanding performance the weekend before Thanksgiving at the Nike Southwest Regional race! Tyler West, Louge Stewart, Zander Davis, Leo Ellcessor, and Eli Faulk all crushed it with personal records, while Hank Chojnacki and Micah Hosie tied their season bests. Jonas Fontaine, Rowan Ingraham, Henry Hoffman, Milo VanMatre, Levi Flanagan, Max Neale, and Axel Fontaine also brought their best to round out a deep team effort. Their collective work paid off — the boys finished 4th in their division, just three points shy of 3rd place and one spot higher than their pre-meet ranking. Awesome job, Lions!
A big congratulations to our Girls Cross Country team on a strong showing at the Nike Southwest Regional race in Mesa, Arizona, just before Thanksgiving break! Alex Herrera notched a personal record, and Klara Fortna matched her season best. Sophie Bailey, Lucia Bovo, Ainsley Baker, Sarah Nazarenus, Ella Chase, Emma Roskelley, and Mo Pannier all ran super tough to anchor the team’s performance. The girls finished 9th in their division, coming in less than 10 points behind Discovery Canyon and finishing well ahead of Air Academy, a perennial powerhouse. They also matched their initial team ranking overall. Way to go, Lions!

FELICITACIONES:
¡Demos un gran aplauso a nuestro equipo masculino de campo a través por su extraordinaria actuación el fin de semana anterior al Día de Acción de Gracias en la carrera regional Nike Southwest! Tyler West, Louge Stewart, Zander Davis, Leo Ellcessor y Eli Faulk lo dieron todo y batieron sus récords personales, mientras que Hank Chojnacki y Micah Hosie igualaron sus mejores marcas de la temporada. Jonas Fontaine, Rowan Ingraham, Henry Hoffman, Milo VanMatre, Levi Flanagan, Max Neale y Axel Fontaine también dieron lo mejor de sí mismos para completar el gran esfuerzo del equipo. Su trabajo colectivo dio sus frutos: los chicos terminaron cuartos en su división, a solo tres puntos del tercer puesto y un puesto por encima de su clasificación previa a la carrera. ¡Buen trabajo, Leones!

Las chicas terminaron en novena posición en su división, a menos de 10 puntos de Discovery Canyon y muy por delante de Air Academy, una potencia habitual.
