Wilma Mankiller was the first woman elected Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation. She worked to improve healthcare, education, and housing for her community. Her leadership strengthened tribal sovereignty and Native representation. She showed that serving others is the heart of leadership.

Littleton played a great match last night versus Standley Lake. Individual winners were Eva with a sweep, Cora with a solid tie-break victory, and partners Julia and Josie with excellent net play and communication. At JV, Shelby won her match with partner Abby and then partners Abby/Leah, Lara/Zoe, and Megan/Audrey all had strong victories. Come out to our V2 match tonight at home against Alameda! Go Lions!

Lions, we have lots of good food in our Community Pantry! If your family needs a little extra food for dinners or over Spring Break, mosey on down to room 1219 between 8 and 8:15 am any day or during 5th period. We have pasta, sauce, mac and cheese, canned tuna, beans, rice, canned veggies, canned fruit, jelly, soup, ravioli, pancake mix, and more!

Wilma Mankiller fue la primera mujer elegida jefa principal de la Nación Cherokee. Trabajó para mejorar la asistencia sanitaria, la educación y la vivienda de su comunidad. Su liderazgo reforzó la soberanía tribal y la representación de los indígenas. Demostró que el servicio a los demás es la esencia del liderazgo.

Felicitaciones a CJ Symons por su mención honorífica y a Tyler Griffin por su inclusión en el segundo equipo ideal de la liga de baloncesto masculino del condado de Jefferson. Asimismo, felicitaciones a Colin Osher por participar en el partido de baloncesto de los estudiantes de último año de Jeffco HS, patrocinado por Gold Crown.
Littleton jugó un gran partido anoche contra Standley Lake. Las ganadoras individuales fueron Eva, que se llevó el partido por 2-0, Cora, con una sólida victoria en el desempate, y las parejas Julia y Josie, que destacaron por su excelente juego en la red y su buena comunicación. En la categoría JV, Shelby ganó su partido junto a su compañera Abby, y luego las parejas Abby/Leah, Lara/Zoe y Megan/Audrey lograron todas contundentes victorias.
