Congratulations to the JV soccer team on their 1 to 0 victory over Douglas County yesterday. Connor Price scored the winning goal and the assist came from Emmanuel Cooke.

Juniors – TODAY is the last day to sign up for the PSAT - Practice SAT. Sign-up in the Counseling Office.  The cost is $20, cash or check made out to LHS.  The test is Wed., Oct. 16, beginning at 7:20 in the South Gym.  Registration is limited with the final deadline Fri., Oct. 11 if there is still space available.

Admissions reps from over 50 colleges and universities will be visiting our school to meet with students this week.  the list is too long to read, but you can find a complete list on your Naviance account, as well as on the bulletin board across from the cafe.  These rep meetings are just about the best way to find out more about schools you may be interested in.  Stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass in order to attend.

Hello parents and students! Parent/Teacher conferences are coming up on Tuesday and Wednesday. PTO will be selling delicious frozen yogurt cups with yummy toppings during both sessions, so remember to bring a little extra spending money to treat yourself to a  little snack while chatting with your teachers. PTO will be selling each yogurt cup for $3, and all proceeds will go to after-prom. It’s a delicious way to curb your hunger while helping our very special event in April! Thanks in advance for your support!

Join your fellow students in either a 5K or 10K race through the beautiful streets of Littleton.  We have been challenged to win the School Competition for the 3rd year in a row, so we need to have as many participants as possible join the Littleton High School team. If our school has the largest percentage of participants, we win $1,000!  The PE department is giving extra credit for PE Students who sign up.  Please see Mr. Banfield or go online:  www.runthestride.com

Congratulations to the boys C team in their 6-1 win over Douglas County.  Goals were scored by Ivan Magana, Clayton Pratt, Matteo Teisi, Jose Torres and Nick Castle. The C Team will wrap up their season this Friday with a rematch at  Denver East High at 4:30.

Congratulations Boys Varsity soccer, they beat Legend 2-0! We are in the playoffs and our 1st game is here on Thursday at 4pm.  Come out to cheer on the team and WAY TO GO LIONS!!

Congratulations to the Boys C team soccer for their 4-2 win over Legend yesterday for their last home match. It was a great team effort with Ivan Magana and Clayton Pratt sharing goal keeping work and scoring by Jose Torres with 2 goals and Matteo Tesei and Ivan Magana each adding a goal. Great job Lions!

Come out and wear pink at the Dig Pink volleyball match tonight in support of breast cancer awareness (Tuesday) against Mountain Vista. Freshman and sophomores play at 4:30, JV plays at 5:30, and varsity starts at 6:30.

Heritage/Littleton Women’s lacrosse is having a Parent/Player TONIGHT, October 8th @ 6:30 p.m. in the Forum @ LHS.  Please attend if you are interested in playing lacrosse this Spring.  Bring your US Lacrosse number with you.

The softball season has come to a close.  A great season....worthy of post season play.  The last game was fantastic....we had a grand slam AND a triple play in our win over Thunderidge!  As we are only graduating 2 seniors.....next year we will leave no doubt!  GREAT Season..it was a blast!  Thank you for supporting us!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:
Congratulations to your "Lion Pride" Marching Band and Colorguard for their Outstanding Performances at the Colorado West Invitational this past Saturday in Grand Junction.  Your "Lion Pride" Band and Colorguard placed 2nd in their Division in the Field Show Competition and 1st in their Division in the Parade Competition with the second highest score of the day.  Go Band!!!

Congratulations to the Soccer  Boys C Team for their 6-2 win over Gateway Friday.  A great team effort led by Daniel Rivas with a hat trick and single goals by Ivan Magana, Ulises Mendez and Jack Sadler. Come support all three teams at home on Tuesday when the Lions take on Legend at 4 and 7.
