CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to the boys' tennis team on their 7-0 sweep of Green Mountain yesterday. All lines won their matches decisively. Great job, Lions!

Attention Seniors: All of you received an email invitation to register your account with SCOIR, LHS's new college and career planning website. It is important for you to complete the steps to complete this process. This is also the time to sign up for an individual meeting with Post Grad to set you up for success next year, no matter what your goal. All of the links are available from your Seminar teacher.

SPORTS :
Thank you to the great crowd at the opening football game. The score went the other way, but I am proud of every player who stepped on the field last night! Come check the Lions out next Friday at Englewood HS in the Battle on Broadway!

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Create for Kids Club is an incredible opportunity to inspire and give joy to children in hospital settings. We spend our meetings creating unique and fun cards and gift baskets for kids under serious pediatric care, which are dropped off directly at the Children's Hospital Medical Campus in Aurora. Join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of children on Monday, September 9th at 7:40 in room 1314.

Looking for some R&R? Come to the NEW Roblox and Relaxation Club! We will enjoy games, practice relaxation strategies, and most importantly we will build relationships through community building. Lion 5K is Sun., Sept. 15, at the high school. This race benefits our athletic programs and
activities and is one of our Booster Club’s annual fundraising events. With a beautiful course on
the High Line that starts and ends on the new track in our recently renovated stadium, there’s

Do you want your 15 minutes of fame? Film Club is hosting auditions for its next short film on September 23rd. Get more information and sign up next Monday after school in Room 2610

Juniors and Seniors interested in joining the National Honor Society, please stop by to pick up an application packet from counseling. Remember, students need a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above to qualify for membership in NHS. Packets are due Friday, September 13, 2024, with a one-time admission fee of $20.00.
